Moving In

Here are some highlights from our move. We have had such joy in discovering all the blessing in store for us here. The home is delightful, and we have had a busy week unpacking and decorating, and dreaming of other wonderful things we can do for the house in time! Ethan calls it the "nu house" and whenever we go out, even for a trip to the grocery store he says we are going back to the "nu house!" He loves the fact that we have AMAZING wooded bike trails through nature preserves and a park with a lake, ducks, and of course an awesome playground where the ice-cream truck comes in with his jingle every evening at 7 pm. We have loved discovering that our own backyard has flowers that the hummingbirds love, and Ethan is the best little gardener as he faithfully waters all our plants and himself at least once a day! These are the moments when I wish I could hold time in an hourglass... and suspend it's motion for a little while, as I revel in the glorious joy of Ethan growing up and the rich blessing that God has showered upon us.
